I think it's a little too early for that stage of pregnancy, no?? Or, maybe I'm just an odd duck, seeing as how I'm already a borderline OCD anal freak about cleaning. Like, no joke. If you come in to my house and move a picture frame just a little to the left, I know it's been moved....and of course I move to back to it's 'place.' Yes, I'm that anal. I just can't help it. It's in my blood to clean.
I laugh every time I watch Friends (my favorite show EVER, btw) and see Monica's crazy, neurotic character, who's obsessed with cleaning...like, literally thinks it's fun to clean....yep, that's totally me. :P It's guess it's just my 'thing.' Whenever I'm mad, sad, frustrated...I clean. And, the strange thing is, is that I love cleaning other people's houses. I'd rather spend the day helping clean a friend's house, than clean my own. Weird, huh?
But anyways, on to me 'nesting' today...
It all started with one dirty area of the kitchen. I was putting away dishes, and when I went to put away one of those glass casserole dishes in the drawer under the stove, I noticed how GROSS the outside of the drawer was. I mean, I don't get down that close to the ground very often, so I guess I just never noticed all the food/gunk that's been building up down there. So, I break out the Lysol wipes and scrub away on the drawer until it's sparkling white. Ahhh, much better.
Then I figured...well, since I have the Lysol wipes out, what the heck...I'll clean the entire stove now. And, it just kept going and going from there. After that, I cleaned the microwave, the counter-tops next to the stove, the coffeepot/dishes/knickknacks on top of the counter-tops. Then I moved on to the refrigerator. I cleaned the entire outside of the fridge, from top to bottom...and then I moved inside and cleaned some of the shelves (apparently I was being lazy and didn't feel like moving all the food on the shelves, so I just cleaned around everything. lol)
Then I finally realized I was pooped! I hadn't sat down since I got home from work 2 hours earlier. Whew!
So, um, yeah...I think I have a problem. I hope this isn't a sign of what's to come for the next 8 months. I'm going to be one tired mama if I keep this up! ;)
And, on a totally random sidenote....Hubs totally offered to take me to see Eclipse tonight, multiple times! Awwww, I love my baby-daddy. :) We're going to go sometime this weekend. Yay, I can't wait!

My first pregnancy update - 6 weeks!
I've been reading these pregnancy surveys/quizzes on so many other blogs that I follow, so I'm super excited to finally be able to do one of these myself! (I know you guys are so excited, too...you don't have to hide it! ;) )
So, on to the survey!
And, according to Baby Center, here is what Baby B looks like this week:
Edit: Ooops! I forgot to add my bump pics... (Sorry for the headless pics, I hadn't showered yet and was looking notsocute)
That's all for this update! I hope everyone had a great weekend! :)
So, on to the survey!
- How far along? 6 weeks and 1 day
- Total weight gain: Nothing, so far! *crosses fingers it stays that way for at least a little while*
- How big is baby? 1/6 - 1/4 of an inch...teeny tiny!
- Maternity clothes? No, not yet...not too much bloat yet either, thankfully!
- Stretch Marks? Oh boy, I sure hope not yet! Haha!
- Sleep: Still pretty good. Last week I was getting up 1 or 2 times per night to pee, but I haven't gotten up much this past week. We'll see how long that lasts...
- Best moment this week? Scheduling our first ultrasound! Next Wednesday, July 7th. I cannot wait to see our little jellybean and make sure he/she is safe and healthy in there!
- Movement? Other than all the gas bubbles moving around in my belly...nothing. ;)
- Food cravings: Nothing crazy yet. I've been wanting fruit a lot more lately, so I guess that's the only real craving.
- Labor signs? Not for a looooong time, hopefully.
- Belly button in or out? In
- What I miss: Seeing as it's really starting to feel like summer out there, and we just opened our pool...I wish I could have an ice cold beer right about now.
- What I'm looking forward to: Our first ultrasound next week!!
- Milestones: Baby B is starting to grow arm and leg buds....awwww. :)

Pregnancy dreams
I think I had one of my first crazy pregnancy dreams last night. It was kind of scary...notgonnalie!
So, there I was minding my own business sitting on my front porch in my rocking chair (um, whaaa? I wish we had a front porch and rocking chair! Ha!), when all of a sudden I notice some really scary guy trying to abduct this women. Now, I have no idea where these people came from, or where my husband was in this crazy dreamland, but there wasn't anything I could do to help this poor lady. She was screaming and yelling and trying to get away, and all I could do was watch. I remember thinking to myself that I felt really sick, and that I couldn't watch anymore. So, I get up and start to go inside, and this crazy abductor guy turns around and starts coming after ME!! I run really quickly into the house (husband is still MIA) and try to lock the door before he gets up to it (you know how in your dreams, you can't really run fast or yell/scream....well, that's how I felt when I was trying to lock the doors. I just couldn't do it fast enough!).
Anyways, I ended up locking the door in time, and just stood in the middle of the room praying that this psycho wouldn't break into my house.
And then I woke up.
I was sweating pretty badly and my heart was racing. And, of course I thought the dream was totally real, so I was frantically looking around at the windows in our bedroom trying to remember if they were locked, and then I thought about going to check the doors and all the other windows.
Phew...that was definitely a close one. And scary, right?! Or, maybe I'm just a big baby.
Seriously though, I thought pregnancy dreams were supposed to be all hot and steamy, with crazy sex (sometimes not even with your own spouse! *gasp*) and fun stuff like that?! I'm ready for those kinds of dreams. Haha! Just kidding...sort of.
Anywaaaays....Happy Friday!! I hope everyone has a great weekend! :)

I'm baaaack!
I know, I know...I promised I'd be a better blogger, and
unfortunately, I've been the worst . :( But, I do have a pretty good
excuse...I've been in Vegas since last Friday!! :::cue slot machines
and fun casino sounds:::
It literally ended up being the most last minute trip we've ever gone
on (like, we booked it a week before we went), but it was worth it!
A bunch of our friends had this trip planned for months now, and we
didn't think we could afford it, especially since we were going to take
a really nice trip for our anniversary in September. But, now since I'
m KU'd, we probably aren't going to spend the $$ to go away
somewhere fancy anymore....sooo, we figured, what the heck! Let's
go to Vegas! We left early on Friday morning and got back late on
Tuesday night. And, let me tell ya...it's quite the experience going
to Vegas and being the only one of the only sober people there! Ha!
We ended up laying out and relaxing by the pool a lot, eating, and
walking around the strip and in all the different hotels. It was a lot
of fun! I definitely wish I could afford to shop in most of the stores
there (Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Jimmy Choo), but, it was fun to
pretend like I could buy anything I wanted. ;)
And you know, while it's great to get away and be on vacation...I
was honestly so happy to get home, be with my animals, sleep in my
own bed, and get back into my regular routine. I must be getting
old or something. lol
I have lots of pictures to post, but, I'm at work right now (Shhhh, I'm
totally not blogging at work ::wink wink::), so I'll put those up later
when I get home.
I did have a little scare while we were away, and I started spotting a
bit. Now, I know it's perfectly normal to spot, and so many women
spot throughout their entire pregnancies, and I've probably read
online 3902802 times how women spot and everything is A-ok....but,
when it actually happened to ME, I freaked out. I'm actually still
freaking out a bit, because it's still going on. But, my first
appointment is tomorrow afternoon, so hopefully everything will be
perfect and I can relax a bit and start enjoying this pregnancy! I
swear, I've been terrified for these past 2 weeks that something is
going to wrong...it's such a horrible feeling. I just want to be
happy and excited and go out and buyeverything I see that's baby
related some cute baby stuff, but I just can't yet. *Fingers crossed*
that everything goes well tomorrow, and that we have a happy,
healthy jellybean growing inside of me. :)
Hmmm, what else....
OH! Can I tell you about my scariest experience flying that I've ever
had in my life?! Seriously...I thought we were going to crash. (I
know, I sound like a drama queen, but if you were there, you
probably would've thought the same thing.)
So, we're about 30 minutes from landing at the airport, and we start
making out decent down to land. All of a sudden I look out the
window and I see nothing...we were completely engulfed in grayish/
white clouds. Not even 2 minutes after being in those clouds, we
hit such bad turbulence and the plane literally dropped down so
quickly, that we were all lifted out of our seats and thrown in the
air, like a roller-coaster. No joke. Everyone on the plane screamed.
I don't think I could've gripped Hubby's arm any tighter. All I could
do is hold on to him yelling 'OMG, OMG, OMG, OMG.' And, to make
things worse, right after wefelt like we were falling from the sky
hit the bad turbulence, the ENTIRE plane stunk of vomit.
Disgusting. And, I got so scared that I started sweating like a pig.
So, I'm stuck in this plane, feeling like death, afraid that we're all
going to die, and trying not to vomit from the vomit smell.
Good times, let me tell ya.
It was at the exact moment that I starting praying we would get out
alive, and I vowed to never fly again (or, at least until after I give
birth). No, thank you!
So, other than the scariest flight of my life, the trip went pretty
well! ;)
I hope you all have been having a great week! I've been trying to
catch up on all my blogs between yesterday and today. I'm almost
there!
Oh, and tomorrow's Friday....YAY!! I love 2 day work weeks. :D
PS - Is Blogger being a royal PIA for anyone else today?! Or, is it just me?? Grrrrrrr.

A little Thursday night randomness...
I'm so sorry I've been such a bad blogger lately. If I'm not at work, I'm at home either cleaning like a mad woman (I get random spurts of energy here and there. Weird.), or I'm sleeping. On Monday night I took a 3 1/2 hour nap, from about 3:30-7:30...it was fabulous. Then last night, I decided to take a 'nap' around 7:30 last night, and pretty much slept through the entire night. I got up once to say hi to Hubs when he got home from playing basketball, and I peed...that's it. So yeah, this has been me for the past week or so...
I promise I'll try and be a better blogger! Hopefully this exhaustion doesn't last too long, but, I think I may just be fooling myself. It's here for the loooong haul. Ha! Good thing I love to sleep, huh??
I went out and bought another HPT the other day. I couldn't resist. I had to do it, you know, just to make sure I'm still pregnant. ;) I still have one more digital test that I plan on using this weekend. I know, I'm crazy.
Oooh, speaking of being pregnant...my first doctor's appointment is next Friday!! Eeeek, I'm SO excited! I'm praying that we'll actually be able to see/hear a heartbeat, but, seeing that I'm going kind of early (I'll be 5 weeks and 6 days then) I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much. **fingers crossed**
Um, on a serious note...how the heck did I get 101 followers?! OMG!! I can't even believe it. I never thought anyone would want to read my random crap and rambling! lol Thank you SO much for following...you guys are the best. I love rambling to ya'll (I know, I'm not from the South...I still love the word ya'll, though. Teehee), but, you can be honest and tell me when I get boring. I won't be offended. ;)
I really want to be a Kardashian. Seriously. I love those girls...they're so fun! Do you think they'd adopt me?? ;) I'd settle for some hair and make-up tips...is that too much to ask?
Ok, I'm sorry this has to be a short random post tonight. I'm so tired, I've had a headache for the past 3 hours, and my belly hurts. Time for sleepies!!
Nighty night!! :) xoxo

Weekend update, and THANK YOU!!
Hello my lovely blog ladies!! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Of course, they always go by waaaaay too quickly, and I'm sad that it's almost Monday already. Boooo.
Our weekend was pretty busy, but so much fun!
On Friday I was super exhausted....like, I-could-barely-keep-my-eyes-open-past-7pm exhausted. It's crazy how quickly it hits you! I don't mind too much, though...I love my sleep. Teehee. So, I ended up staying home all night and just relaxing, while the hubs went to a friend's house for a few hours because they were having a party. I definitely wouldn't have been able to go there...the minute that someone noticed that I wasn't drinking, I would've been bombarded by "OMG, are you pregnant?!?!" questions. And, I don't want to spill the beans just yet. I mean, I'm definitely not one to be able to keep such an exciting secret like this to myself, so I'm sure I'll tell my friends soon...just not the day after my BFP. It'll be a miracle if I can keep it in another week or so. ;o)
On Saturday we headed up to Boston with James' brother and SIL for the Red Sox game. Even though it rained pretty much the WHOLE game, we still had a blast! Our seats were awesome, and we were nice and covered up in our ponchos (we looked pretty hot in those, let me tell ya), so it wasn't too bad! Other than being notsosmart and wearing flip flops, rather than sneakers, I was pretty warm and comfortable. And, they won...so YAY!! After the game we went out for dinner, and then headed back to the hotel for the night. Of course, I was ex-haus-ted! I even ended up taking a nap on the ride up yesterday, and on the way back today. Haha! It looks like anytime between 3-4pm is going to be my daily nap-time. I love it. :o)
Today we headed back home around 2ish, and then stopped for dinner at the Cheesecake Factory on the way home. Mmmm, it was sooo delish!! I wish I could eat there all the time (the closest one is about 40 min. away from us)...their menu is SO huge, I could get something different every time, and still not be able to try everything. lol
So, that's it for our weekend. It's nice to be home now, and I missed our fur-babies, of course! I can't wait to climb into bed soon and relax with my book....ahhhh, that's the best.
I also just wanted to say thank you so, so, SO much to all of you ladies!! Your sweet comments and thoughts and prayers mean so much to me. Seriously. It means more than you all know!! I appreciate it so much. I don't know what I would've done these past few months without you all to vent to, and without your love and support. Even in my saddest, most frustrated moments, you were all there with words of encouragement and support....honestly, you are THE BEST. I cannot wait to share all the details of these next 9 months with you...and be prepared, I will be sharing all.the.details. :P I'm so excited!!
Alright, enough of my sappy talk...I'm going to make myself cry! Ha! I have to run downstairs and finish up the laundry before I get to relax in bed, anyways. I hope everyone is having a great night!
PS - Is anyone else super excited about True Blood tonight?!? Eeeek, I can't wait!! :o)

Seriously, Fertility Friend...make up your mind!!
Ugggh, just venting here....
Originally, FF told me about a week ago that I ovulated on CD12.
Then, a couple of days ago it decided to move my O day CD 15. And
now, it just changed my O day again , back to CD 12. SO frustrating!
Seriously, I think this next cycle it's time for a break. I'm soooo sick
of all this TTC crap....temping, charting, OPK's, checking CM,
freaking out over every. little. symptom. during the 2ww (2 week
wait)....I'm DONE.
Also, I definitely need to call my doctor tomorrow to schedule my
annual and make sure I talk to her about TTC. I'm hoping since DH
is 35, she'll at least agree to him getting a SA, so we know for sure
or not if there's any problem on his part. *fingers crossed* that it's
NOT him, of course!! But, he's also worried that it may be him....so
it'll ease our fears a bit to know for sure.
Who knows...maybe cycle 8 will be the lucky one. I'm really starting
to lose hope, though....so, we'll see.
*Edit* Great. When I entered my temperature in this morning, it moved my O day BACK to CD 15. *sigh*

or not if there's any problem on his part.
*sigh*

Thoughtless Thursday
So, I'm feeling kind of blue tonight. I started spotting today, so I'm pretty sure it's on to cycle #8. *sigh* It's getting harder and harder as the months go by....and I'm not pregnant. UGH. I'm having a pity party for myself tonight....please ignore me.
Anyways, I figured since I don't really feel like writing a whole lot, and I really don't have too much to say, I'll participate in Katie's fun Thoughtless Thursday post!
My pictures are of something that makes me SUPER happy, and if you're not a huge fan like me....you might just want to pass on reading this post. ;o) It's all about The Happiest Place On Earth....DISNEY WORLD, of course!! :D

Noreply-comment@blogger.com
I have to say, this makes me very sad when I go to reply to one of your awesome comments, and there's no email for me to reply to. :o( Your comments are one of the best things about blogging, and I LOVE being able to reply back to a comment you've made to me, and be able to connect with you. That's actually how I met my bloggy BFF Aly! We started commenting on each other's posts, and before we knew it, we were emailing each other every day...and now she can't get rid of me! **Weekend Update**
Can I start off by saying that I can't believe it's almost Wednesday already! I love that this week is flying by! That makes me a happy girl. :o)
So, let's talk about my weekend....
Friday night Hubs and I drove up to Boston for our first Red Sox game of the season! Super exciting and fun, right?? Ha, yeah...that trip ended up being a big fat FAIL. I was absolutely starving on our drive up to the game, so we decided to stop at Dunkin Donuts to get some coffee, and I also got a grilled cheese flat bread sammy. *barf* Trust me, don't ever order one of those sandwiches from there...EVER. For realz. Let's just say, I ended up spending about 75% of the game sitting my arse on the toilet, feeling like I was D-Y-I-N-G. It was awful. And, to make matters worse....I had to endure two different train rides on the way home - one was about 10 minutes long, and then we had to switch to another T, which was about another 20 minutes long. And then, we had to drive another 20 minutes back to our friend's house. And when we finally made it back to her house, I spent about another hour or so in her bathroom. LOL Ohhhh man, was it a BAD night! Let's just hope my next game in two weeks ends up with a much happier ending than this one did! ;o)
There's some good news....we did end up getting a few good pictures in before I started feeling like death! Yay! :P
Here's a view from our seats....there really isn't a bad seat in the house. Love Fenway!
On Saturday we went to a BBQ at one of our good friend's house down the street from us. I still wasn't feeling so hot earlier in the day, so I slept in and went to the party a little later in the day. And of course, what does everyone say to me the second I walk in door?? "Erika, how are you feeling?! ARE YOU PREGNANT?!?!" Seriously guys...trust me, you'd know if I was pregnant. Ha! There would be no hiding it. So, I ended up having to down a beer (or two) to prove that I wasn't pregnant....good times! (Speaking of being pregnant...can anyone tell me what the H is going on with my chart up there?! Did I ovulate yet?? Why the heck did I have so many darn +OPK's this cycle?! Geeeeez. I guess only time will tell.)
On Sunday, we relaxed for most of the day and ran some errands, and then we went back to our friend's house to finish up the food/beer they had from the night before. We played games and sat around the fire pit talking...it was such a fun, low key night! I love nights like that. :o)
Then on Monday we spend the day on another one of our friend's boat. Our friend's parents live on a lake around here, so we all hung out on her boat for the day and then went out to dinner afterward. It was another great day, with perfect weather again!
Overall, it was an awesome weekend (minus Friday night, of course!), and I wish every weekend could be that fun and relaxing at the same time. Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures on any other day....hopefully next time! I'm sure there will be many more fun weekends like that this summer. I can't wait!
I hope everyone had a great weekend! Only 3 more days until Friday! ;o)
