I have a serious problem, and I need help. I might even need an intervention or something, because that's how bad this problem is. Ok, here it goes....
I love sleeping. Seriously. Like, it's so bad that I literally cannot get myself out of bed every morning, and I'm late for work almost EVERY day. :( I hate it. And, I have to say, as much as I love sleeping, I don't think that's the issue really. It's that, when I wake up every morning, I honestly feel like I've only gotten about 1 hour of sleep. I'm just exhausted! I don't think I've ever woken up once in my life feeling 'refreshed.' Once I'm up and showered, I'm much better...it's just dragging myself out of bed that's the hardest part.
So, I was wondering...does anyone have any suggestions to make this easier? I'm sure you're all tired when you wake up in the morning....so, how do you get yourself out of bed? Any morning rituals or anything like that? I'm desperate! Any advice will help! I really appreciate it, ladies! :)
Anyways...sorry for the little rant. Now on to the fun part of this post!
This week, it's Beauty Secrets:
1. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!! (not to be confused with the word moist. Ick!) Honestly, one of the best things I do every morning/night after I wash my face is moisturize. I don't think it makes a huge difference what brand of moisturizer you use, just as long as you use it. It makes my skin look and feel so much healthier, and helps with my make-up, as well.
2. Under-eye concealer. This is something that I personally have to use every day...especially if I'm going out in public. I have a serious case of 'raccoon eyes', and I swear I look like an entire different person once I put this stuff on. It's my miracle product! This is actually the one I use every day:
Just a few other products that I swear by, and can't live without:
*Chapstick/lipgloss
*Blush
*Eyeshadow primer (I use one by Urban Decay)...your eye make-up will stay on all. day. long. I promise! No creasing, flaking, budging...period.

Ugh, I hate getting up in the morning too. I put the alarm clock all the way across the room - as far away from the bed as possible so I have to get out of bed to shut the annoying noise off. Now, if you throw something at the alarm clock and knock it on the ground to make it shut up...well, that's a loophole in this solution. :)
Here are some tips I read a while back -- they worked for me! :)

I love sleeping just all together! I have a hard time gettin up in the morning and I have a hard time not falling asleep!
I take Ambien! And I wake up sooo refreshed! I swear by it!! :) :)
I love sleeping too and I always feel the morning comes too fast!
I don't really have any tips. I hate being late more than anything, so that motivates me to get my butt out of bed! Once I get to work I have virtually no free time, so for me, I like to get to work a bit early, make my copies, and surf the web before my meetings and classes start. Knowing I need that time in the morning motivates me to get going.
Ohhh under eye concealer is a good one! I definitely can't leave the house without that or i'll look like I was up crying all night.
And as for the sleeping goes. Try not to hit snooze a million times because you will NEVER want to get up. But, I normally just lay there in a minute with the tv on and not let myself doze back off, then get up and get ready. I don't drink caffiene so that doesn't help boost me but if you need to, try that!
Chap-stick Is one of my must have's as well.
I'm so sorry to hear about your sleep issues. I don't really know what to tell you because I've felt like this before myself and wasn't sure what to do either. I ended up putting my alarm in my bathroom so when it went off I had to actually get up out of bed to turn it off. That helped.
Oh hunny, I have a serious case of raccoon eyes too. Under-eye concealer is a MUST for me too.
Getting out of bed is a real issue for me too, so bad that I have to set my alarm 30-45 minutes BEFORE I have to get up! It's sad!
I hope your sleeping issues come to an end soon!
