My girl, Mandy (and Miss Fashionista!  ;) )@ What's new with Mrs. T tagged me in a fun post.....you're asked 5 questions, and you have to give 5 answers to each question.  I love fun posts like these....it helps get to know people better!  And, check out her fabulous blog!  :)

Question 1:  Where were you 5 years ago?

~  One week ago today, I went out on my first date with my husband....awww.  :)

~  Working as a bartender/server @ Chili's....where I actually met my hubby.  (he was my manager!)

~  Living at home with my mother....who drove me crazy!  lol

~  Living the restaurant/bar life....sleeping until 12 every day, working until 10/11pm every night, going to the bar every night after work, and sometimes not coming home until 5 or 6am.  It was definitely fun times!  I could never do it now, though.  haha

~  Looking to find Mr. Right.  Thankfully, I got lucky!

Question 2:  What is (was) on your to-do list today?

~  Well, since it's Saturday, I didn't really have much of a to-do list....so, here are just some things I did today.

~  Laundry

~  Helped DH add the faucet to the shower, so I can finally take a bath in our new shower....woohoo!

~  Slept in.....ahhhhh, it was great!

~  Now, relaxing, blogging, and catching up on my DVR'ed shows with a glass of wine.  

Question 3:  What 5 snacks do you enjoy?

~  Chips, chips, and more chips!  lol  I'm a chipaholic.  

~  Apples/celery/carrots and peanut butter

~  Pretzels

~  Cheese and Wheat Thins

~  Tostitos and guacamole

Question 4:  Name 5 places you have lived.

~  Shelton, CT....born and raised

~  Orlando, FL....Disney Internship in college for 4 months

Unfortunately, I haven't moved around too much in my life.  I've lived in different parts of Shelton, and with different family members, but that's about it.  Pretty boring! 

Question 5:  What 5 things would you do if you were a billionaire?

~  Pay off our mortgage and buy a nice house for DH and our family

~  Pay off my car....and hopefully be able to buy a nice SUV, my 'mom' car.  ;)

~  Plan an exotic vacation for DH and I to go on before we have babies  :)

~  Shopping, of course!

~  Put the rest away for bills, future college fund, savings, etc.

Like my new ticker??

It's in honor of the fact that, this cycle I am 99% sure that I will be O'ing when we're in FL in 2 weeks!  Woohoo!  Hopefully I can make a vacation baby.  I know if it were me, I'd much rather start my existence into this world in warm, sunny, palm tree filled Florida....rather than cold, snowy, dreary CT!  ;) 

See?  More positive thinking!  I like it....it feels much better than sulking.   

It's not looking so good

My temp took a serious nosedive this morning, and the spotting is back in action....soooo, I'm thinking no baby for me this month.  :( 

Sorry, this day had been downhill since I woke up this morning and saw my stupid temperature.  So, I'm feeling sorry for myself for a little bit, and will probably go buy a large bottle of wine on the way home from work today....seeing as how I've had only like, 2 drinks this entire 2ww (and that was only b/c it was Valentine's Day/our 5 year 'dating' anniversary).  So much for that!

*throws myself a pity party*

Anyways....I promise I'll be better and more positive tomorrow.  I just need a day to let it all digest and cry it out.  On to cycle number 4!!  I know a few people that have gotten pregnant on their 4th cycle, so maybe I'll have similar luck.  And, trust me...I know 4 cycles is not long at all to be trying, and that many people have tried for much, much longer with no such luck.  But, with pregnancy/babies being on my mind 24/7 now, every day feels like an eternity. 

Only 2 more days until Friday, right?!  That's positive.  ;)

And, I'm LOVING this week's category!  :)  It's definitely a tough one, though.  I have sooo many tv shows that I love and watch (such a guilty pleasure),  I don't know how I'm going to pick just two!  But, I'm going to have to try.

Dream Vacations

Oh boy...this is definitely a tough one!  I have so many dream vacations I'd love to go on.  So, I'll just choose two that are somewhat realistic.  ;)

1.  Hawaii - I've always wanted to go to Hawaii.  DH and I were actually considering Hawaii for our honeymoon, but, since we were paying for most of our wedding, we decided Hawaii was just a bit too expensive for our budget.  Hopefully some day soon we'll be able to take our dream vaca!

 2.  Alaska - Now, I am the first to admit that I am the biggest fan of warm, sandy beaches, surrounded by sun and palm trees.  But, there's just something about Alaska, the nature surrounding it, and the beauty of it all that intrigues me.  I think an Alaskan cruise would be the perfect way to see it all, without having to be stuck in one cold spot for too long.  ;)  And, everyone that I've known who has been there, has absolutely LOVED it.

New look....again

I was really bored since I'm stuck at home because of the snow.  So, I decided that I'd change my look again.  Maybe this will be a monthly thing, since I get bored so easily with backgrounds. 

Anyways, I hope you like it!  DH helped me pick it out.  ;)

AW: Just had to share...

I have the best hubby EVAH.  :)  He gave me part of my Valentine's Day gift early yesterday, and we're going to NYC next weekend to see Phantom of the Opera!!  I'm so psyched.  I saw this play on broadway about 12 years ago, and it's been my favorite play ever since.  I've been dying to go see it again....woot woot!  Oh, and, we're sitting in the orchestra section, about 3 rows from the stage.  Seriously?!  I cannot wait to see the masquerade/chandelier scene that close up....eeek!  If you've ever seen the play/movie before, you know how awesome it is.

And, on a TTC note...I'm pretty sure I'll be O'ing at some point next weekend, so I'm definitely going to have lots of reasons to 'celebrate'.  Teehee.  ;)

It's almost Friday!

Yay!  I feel like this week has been draaaaging on for so long.  And, I'm pretty sure it has to do with the fact that I'm just counting down the days until O time, so James and I can try baby making again.  I honestly feel like that's ALL I think about now.  It's making me crazy.  Especially now that my SIL is pregnant, and that's all we talk about at work (SIL and I work together, by the way)....I want a baby more than anything.  I actually just told James the other day that it's hurting my heart....you know, when you want something so badly, but you don't know if you'll ever get it?  That's how I feel.  And, I know I shouldn't really feel this way yet.  It's just so hard for me not knowing if we're going to be able to have a family....and if we can, how long it's going to take us. 

I've just been in such a funk these last couple of days.  Hopefully this feeling will pass, and I'll be able to start thinking more positively as the days go by.  And, I'm sorry this is ending up to be just a random post and me venting the whole time, but, I just felt like I had to get it out.

So anyways....I hope everyone has a great weekend!  And, I just wanted to send out tons of labor dust to my friend, Kendra!  She's due to have Baby M any day now, and I know she's ready (and we are, too! ;) ).  So, lots of luck to her that she goes into labor this weekend....woot woot! 

Here's just a little something to hopefully brighten up someone's day a bit...I know he always puts a smile on my face.  :)  It's my sleepy Fozzie Bear...aww.
