*Miscellany Monday*

It's been forever since I played in Carissa's MM post, and I'm feeling very random today, so it's the perfect day to link up!

{1}  So, I woke up this morning, looked out the window, and it was snowing.  SNOWING!  I mean, I know it's November already, and it's not that uncommon to have snow this time of the year...but, I was just so caught off guard.  Usually the news/weather people will talk for days about the snow we're going to be getting, or the big Noreaster that's coming our way, and then we wind up getting nothing.  Nada.  And then there are days like today, when I have NO clue that snow's on the way, and I end up having to scrape ice/slush off my car.  Good times on a Monday morning, let me tell ya! 

{2}  Um, did you guys know that Cadbury Mini Eggs are now out for Christmas?!  Seriously...I think I might have peed a little when I was in CVS today and saw them staring back at me in the holiday candy aisle. (What?  I love my candy!  And I'm preggo.  Nuff said.)  Every year I look forward to Easter because I know that I'll be able to stock up on some Mini Eggs....Mmmm.  And, now I get to buy them twice a year!  I'm pretty psyched...if ya couldn't tell.  ;)

{3}  Speaking of being preggo....Baby Girl (yep, still no name.  Grrrr.) seems to think my bladder is her own personal bongo set today.  Oh MAN, it's the craziest feeling.  Besides the fact that I feel like I have to pee all. day. long., it literally feels like she's knocking on my bladder/va-jay-jay simultaneously.  Fun stuff, huh? 

{4}  We finally bought our first big nursery purchase tonight!!  I'm SO excited.  Jessica over at http://www.thesouthernbellebaby.com/ posted a link to this awesome sale website (How the heck did I not know about this site?!  I'm usually alllll about sale websites.) and they were featuring Ragazzi gliders (retail price $650!!), and we ended up purchasing a glider AND ottoman, with shipping, for only $185!!  Pretty sweet deal if you ask me.  I couldn't pass it up!  You should definitely check out the website, and sign up if you haven't already.  Just click this link!  :)

{5}  Oh yeah, and while we're on the subject of Baby B's nursery, can we talk about how we have absolutely nothing done with it yet!  *insert scared/crying/freak out face here*  We still have SO much to do in the house/room before she gets here, it's not even funny.  A few of the major things....re-finish all the hardwood floors in the living room, hallway, and nursery, paint the entire house (living room, kitchen, hallway, nursery), buy a crib/dresser...and the list goes on and on!  Seriously, I'm really starting to freak out here.  We only have 3 more months until Lil Miss makes her grand appearance!!  If we don't get our butts in gear soon, she'll have a closet full of clothes and a glider/ottoman for me to nurse her on....and that's it.  Granted, we still have a baby shower look forward to, and hopefully we'll get some of the big stuff that we need then...but we also need floors and a painted room before we start putting anything in there!  *deep breaths, deep breaths*  Am I just being crazy/hormonal for feeling so overwhelmed and freaked out lately??  Or are we cutting it just a liiiittle close with getting everything ready??  I feel like people that I know that are due after me already have their nurseries almost completely set and ready to go!  That's what's scaring me. 

{6}  Another thing that's scaring me?  I've been having a lot of Braxton Hicks contractions today.  Like, more than I've ever had in a 12 hour period before.  They don't hurt or anything...they're just much more frequent today and I'm really noticing them.  Is this normal?  I really hope it's just a fluke and tomorrow they stop. 

{7}  Only 6 more days until I can finally get my new cell phone!!  (Stupid Verizon wouldn't let me upgrade 2 weeks early...boooo!)  I absolutely HATE my Blackberry now...I honestly can't believe I've been paying an extra $30 a month for online access when it doesn't even work 75% of the time.  I cannot wait to kick it to the curb!  So, hopefully in about a week or so, I will be the proud owner of a brand new Samsung Fascinate!

My 100th post!!

Wow, I can't believe this is my 100th post already!  On one hand, I feel like I just started blogging yesterday, but on the other, I feel like I've 'known' you all for years.  It's kind of strange...but, I like it.  :)

When I first started this blog, I remember asking my bloggy BFF Aly, "What do you blog about every day?...How do you have so many followers already?!...Who would want to read my boring rambles??"  Ha!  And now here I am, 100 posts later, and 118 followers....crazy! 

I just want to thank each and every one of you for being with me and listening to my boring/crazy rambles each week.  I appreciate it more than you know!! 

I know I haven't been the best blogger lately, and have been seriously slacking in the posting department, but I promise I'm working on it!  I cannot wait for the next 100 posts...which I'm sure will be filled with all things baby, I'm sure (which I hope doesn't bore some of you!), and other random things on the side.  And, I can't believe in just about 3 short months I'll be sharing a new family member with you guys...you know, my 'online family.'  ;)

Anyways, enough babbling (it IS what I do best)....here's to 100 more!!  Thanks, again!  xoxo 

23 weeks!

Wow, it's been a while since I've done one of these...mainly because I felt like nothing was really changing, and I just kept giving the same answers over and over.  BOR-ing.  So, I figured it was about that time.  I can't believe I'm 23 weeks already.  I know, I say this every time, but, where has the time gone?!  Before we know it, it's going to be Christmas!  I cannot wait!

Anyways, on to the survey...

•  How far along?  23 weeks and 2 days

• Total weight gain:  Hmmm, at my last appointment I was up 5 lbs total.  But, seeing as how I've been craving candy and pumpkin donuts like it's my JOB, I'm thinking I'm probably up at least 10 lbs by now!  Ha!  I guess I'll find out next week at my monthly appointment.  

• Maternity clothes?  Oh yes...all pants, definitely.  I still have some pre-preg long shirts/sweaters that I can wear, but I've been getting more maternity shirts.  They're just more comfortable.  I'm alllll about comfort these days!  ;)

• Stretch marks?  Nothing that I've seen, thankfully!  But, I did notice some purple-ish spots on my boobs the other day.  Hopefully those aren't the start of any...eeeek!

• Sleep:  Eh, it's been OK.  I usually always sleep through the night fine, but, lately I've been waking up a lot more uncomfortable, and my neck/back have been really sore, too.  No fun.

• Best moment this week?  This little lady has been quite the mover lately, and the other night I was laying on my back just watching my belly pop up all over the place.  It was so neat!  I love watching her move around.

• Movement?  All the time!  LOVE it.

• Food cravings?  Mmmm, like I said earlier....pumpkin donuts from Dunkin, and candy.  Yum!

• Labor signs?  No, thank you!

• Belly button:  It's getting more and more shallow...it's so weird.  I've never seen the inside of my belly button...it's usually so deep!  lol  I have the feeling I'm not going to make it the whole 9 months without it popping out, though.  That's going to look hot.  :P

• What I miss?  Lately it's been pumpkin beer and wine.  Work has been really long and stressful, and I loved coming home after a long day and relaxing on the couch with a glass of wine.  Soon enough, though...it's worth it!  :)

• What I'm looking forward to:  V-day next week!  I can't believe I'm at that point already.  Craziness.  And, I can't wait to go pumpkin picking with Hubs this week!  We're a little late this year (we go every year), but, I'm looking forward to taking cute pictures of us as a family of 2, with a bump this year.  Next year we'll have our lil' punkin with us!  Awww.

• Milestones?  Only a few more weeks until 3rd trimester!  Wow!

Ann Taylor LOFT sells maternity clothes?!

I just recently found this tidbit of information out, and I was SO excited....LOVE that store. 

But...of course there's a but....I actually just looked at everything they sell online. 

Are they serious with their prices?!?  Their normal clothing line doesn't even cost that much!  Honestly, how can a normal working girl, paying for a house/bills, and trying to save for a baby, afford to pay for clothes that expensive, and ones they'll only wear for a few months??  I mean, I'm not cheap by any means...but, I sure as heck can't buy ONE maternity shirt for $70, or a preggo dress for $130.  That's just craziness. 

*sigh*

Flip This House

Does anyone else watch this show, on A&E??  Hubs and I have spent many Saturdays and Sundays laying around on the couch alllll day watching home improvements shows...this being one of our favs.  I love it.  And, I especially love it when they show the group of guys that flip houses right in our neighborhood.  They've even flipped a house on our street...only 4/5 houses down from ours!  I think it's pretty cool.  ;)  It never gets old watching it with Hubs and being like, 'Babe, look!  There's the town hall!'...or, 'Babe, look!  There's the gas station we go to all the time.'  lol  It's the little things that excite me. 

Anyways...the point of this post if that our house is in some serious need of home improvement.  Well, more like decorating improvement, since there's pretty much, none.  Just ask this girl!  She's seen pictures of our very sadly 'decorated' living room, and can tell you first-hand how Martha Stewart I am NOT.  Haha.  It's pretty sad.

We've actually completely re-arranged our living room for the first time in almost 5 years, so I'm really looking forward to starting to make this place look like a home for once...I mean, it's only been 5 years since we moved in!  It's about damn time.

But, our main problem in our living room (well, it's a big problem to Hubs and I, who collectively have the decorating skills of a dog.  Does that even make sense??  No.  That's how bad our decorating skills are.  Ha.) are these green couches...

(Sorry, this is the best picture I have of the color of our couches...it's actually a little more green in person, esp. when the light hits it.  And, our living rooms looks nothing like this anymore.  We've completely re-arranged and ripped up the carpet, so now there's hardwood floor in the entire room, that is in serious need of being re-finished...but, that's a whole other project.)

Ok, so our problem is....we feel like NOTHING goes with this color green.  And, we need a complete make-over, but unfortunately, we have to keep these couches.  If we had the extra $$, we'd definitely be going out today to buy new ones....neutral ones! 

So, I need your help ladies!  PLEASE!  I'm seriously begging...no shame.  ;)  Our mains concerns are...

{1}  What color walls should we paint our living room??  We need something neutral, but don't want it to be a boring white/cream/beige color. 

{2}  What color throw pillows can I get to bring another color into the room??  Hubs mentioned red/burgundy, but then I was afraid that it would look like Christmas all year round.  Notsocute. 

{3}  Also, what color curtains should we get??  Did I mention that our curtains are also green?!  Ugh, we definitely went overboard on the green when we first moved in.  What were we thinking?!

{4}  And my last main concern is...how the heck do I decorate this room?!?!  lol  I am SO bad at figuring out what pieces go together, what to put on the walls, what colors match....pretty much everything. 

{5}  Oh yeah, AND, we need to get a big area rug once we get the floors re-finished.  Any suggestions on good colors/patterns to go with?

*sigh*  Ok, I think that's it...for now.  If any of you ladies out there can help me at all, I would greatly appreciate it!  Even if you can point me in the direction of a good website/store that can help, I'll take it!  :)

I hope you're all having a great weekend, so far!  I'm trying to get Hubs to go pumpkin picking today, so hopefully I'll have some fun pictures for next week if we end up going today.

This sucker better be worth it!

Because I just spent $42 (with a 20% off coupon....originally $54.  Crazy!) of my hard earned money on this stupid pillow.  Yep, a pillow.

It's a little scary looking if you ask me.  lol  But, hopefully this preggo pillow works!  My back/muscles have been in some serious pain every morning when I wake up, so I'm hoping this will do the trick.  We'll see!

Any mamas out there have any experience with the Snoogle?  Is it worth it?  Should I have gotten the Boppy Total Body Pillow instead?  I was torn between the two.  I hope I made the right choice!

I cannot wait to dress Baby B up in her little outfits and these headbands!  Too. darn. cute.  And, I'm pretty happy because I found a great website to buy them at!  They sell the headbands and flowers separately, and it only cost .38 cents per headband and $1.99 per flower!  Pretty good deal if you ask me.  ;)  Here's the website if anyone's interested....www.girlscrochetheadbands.com. 

Oh yeah, and, I have more little clippy bows (like my technical name for them?) coming in the mail that I ordered yesterday!  They were on sale for $1 each, so I couldn't pass it up.
